The body of Asher Puntillo was pulled from a pond around 2:30 a.m. in the backyard of his family’s home on Concord Hennings Mills Road, our news partner WCPO-TV in Cincinnati reported.
The search for the boy started after he was not seen during dinner at a cookout and camp-out with friends and family. He was reported missing around 7:20 p.m. Friday.
During the search, an arm float was found near the edge of the pond where adults and children had swam.
The Ohio Task Force One dive team responded to help search the pond, where diver’s found the child’s body.
The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office believes this was an accidental drowning and no foul play is suspected.
