Henson said at that time she required that Chenoweth provide additional feed for the horses.
After a second call, Henson said she required that one of the horses receive veterinary care.
On Wednesday, after becoming aware of Internet postings about the horses, which Chenoweth houses at the park in the summer for trail riding, Henson said she again checked on the horses.
“There is one that is thin,” Henson said, noting she required Chenoweth to get some weight on the horse.
She said she will be checking on them again in about three weeks.
Henson said the horses have shelter and food.
Chenoweth could not be reached for comment.
