Butler County sheriff attends holiday reception at White House

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones is at the White House this afternoon for a holiday reception, which he called an “unbelievable” experience.

Jones began tweeting photos of himself at the White House this afternoon, showing him in front of a well-furnished table of food, in front of a Christmas tree and at various locations at the White House.

Jones is the Butler County chairman for President Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign.

He said he was asked to keep the visit a secret until today. He spoke to this news organization while waiting for Trump to arrive.

“Not bad for a little old sheriff from Butler County,” Jones said.
