Cake, Hope, and Love announces cupcake delivery service

Did you hear the good news? You'll now be able to get some of your favorite baked goods delivered straight to your door.

Yes. Cake, Hope and Love is now mobile and at your service if you live within a 20-mile radius of their shop.

There's a six-cupcake minimum for delivery, and delivery hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Estimated time for the deliveries is two hours or less. To order, fill out the online form, or call or text 937-532-0917. (Cake Hope & Love highly recommends you use their online ordering form.)

To sweeten the pot (or pastry), the bake shop attaches a heartfelt note to all of your delivered cupcakes.

"We get a ton of requests," said co-owner Shannon Teague, when asked why they started delivering.

According to Teague, most of these requests come from "[out-of-state] moms whose kids maybe have gone off to college [in Dayton] and want to send their kids a birthday cupcake while they're away."

Teague explained that there are going to be four set cupcakes you can order from and they will rotate every month.

So which cupcakes are the most popular?

“Buckeye, Birthday Bash, Red Velvet Cream Cheese and Sugar Plum Fairy, which is packaged with glitter and a lot of fun,” Teague said.

And the public reception?

"It has been a little crazy," Teague said. "We did a soft post on Wednesday and we're doing better than we thought."
