Car crashes into creek in Clark County

An 18-year-old driver crashed into a creek and fled the scene of a crash in the 4300 block of River Road this morning.

The driver crashed his vehicle around 6:45 a.m. and after crashing he exited the vehicle and began wandering around near the crash scene, according to officials.

Officials said they were able to locate the driver, who was uninjured, and took him to the Ohio Highway Patrol post in Springfield.

Alcohol is suspected as a possible contributing factor the crash, officials said.
