CareSource to host job, community services fair today

DAYTON — CareSource Life Services will host a job and community services fair at the Boys and Girls Club of Dayton today.

The free public event will start at 10 a.m. inside 1828 West Stewart Street.

In addition to employers conducting interviews, CareSource Life Coaches will be onsite to help people with developing and printing a resume, preparing for interviews and connecting to community resources.

The Foodbank's Mobile Farmer's Market will provide fresh produce to those eligible for food assistance.

This event will conclude a series of job fairs funded by a $750,000 Healthier Buckeye Grant. As a result of the grant, 165 individuals are employed and 455 individuals have enrolled in the CareSource Life Services program.

"CareSource Life Services is proud of the impact we have been able to have on the Dayton community by working with our employer and community service partners," said Karin VanZant, CareSource Life Services executive director. "The Healthier Buckeye Grant has allowed us to better serve our members by providing them with integrated access to the resources they need to reach self-sufficiency."
