Centerville’s Free Concert Series features musical Gumbo

CENTERVILLE — The Centerville Arts Commission will be presenting a free concert by Robin Lacy & DeZydeco at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9.

Robin Lacy & DeZydeco is a six-piece group set apart from the mainstream with their unique instrumentation that includes the accordion, saxophone and rub board found mainly in the Zydeco and Cajun-styled bands of southwest Louisiana.

Along with traditional Zydeco, roots rock ‘n’ roll, blues, and classic country covers, the band plays a number of original songs featured on their latest recordings. It’s a unique brand of musical gumbo.

The Centerville Summer Concert Series brings talented musicians and performers to the Stubbs Park Amphitheater stage all summer long with free concerts every week. For a complete line-up, go to www.ci.centerville.oh.us.
