City of Dayton raises funds for immigrant, refugee services

The city's "Welcome Dayton" program held a fundraiser Thursday night to reinforce its reputation as a welcoming place for immigrants.

The program's event at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds raised money to benefit immigrant and refugee support services that include the Immigrant Legal Defense Fund and Welcome Dayton Natural Helpers.
