Clark County Developmental Disabilities donates van to Veteran Services

Developmental Disabilities of Clark County has donated an accessible vehicle to the Veterans office.

The 2007 converted Ford van with a wheelchair life will be used to help veterans with disabilities get to medical appointments, according to a release.

“Over the last year, Veterans Services has occasionally borrowed this vehicle from us to help veterans get to doctor appointments,” said Bob Bender, Director of Operations for Developmental Disabilities of Clark County. “They have a real need for this type of vehicle, and we were glad to help.’
