Power has been restored to the Clark County Dog Shelter, Click said.
The shelter is still closed at this time.
FIRST REPORT:
The Clark County Dog Shelter lost power and is closed today as a result of a vehicle that struck a pole this morning on Urbana Road, Sandi Click, Director and Chief Dog Warden confirmed.
No injuries were reported in the crash that happened around 7 a.m.
The shelter has received hundreds of gallons of water from the community for the dogs while power is being restored.
The shelter was not damaged in the crash, but “the dogs are still very frightened because the noise.”
Crews have been working all day and hope to have power restored later this afternoon.
