TURTLECREEK TWP. — If Model Ts and convertible Mustangs get your motor running, you should plan a road trip this weekend.
More than 100 classic cars will be at Armco Park Sunday, June 6, for the 32nd annual ACE Car Club Car Show.
The ACE Car Club of Middletown judges 16 classes of car at the show ranging from the antique brass era of the early 20th century to ’50s and ’60s muscle cars and street rods, as well as sports cars, production cars, pony cars, and present day custom models. Added to the judging this year is the Rat Rod class.
Car show registration begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until noon. Judging begins at 1 p.m. and awards are handed out at 2:30 p.m. Awards will be distributed for first and second place in each class and an overall Best of Show award. Registration fee for cars is $12.
Charlie Rouster, an organizer, said the car show usually draws around 150 cars.
The event is open to the public and free of charge for spectators.
