A raid on a Clayton home today yielded “a large quantity of” fentanyl, heroin, marijuana and cash and one arrest.

The Montgomery County Regional Agencies Narcotics and Gun Enforcement task force searched 1838 Winston Woods Drive as part of a monthlong drug trafficking investigation, according to a release from the RANGE task force.
Deaires Lamont Powell, 29, of Clayton, was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of possession of drugs.
Additional charges will be reviewed with the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, the release stated.
