Endless lines of students, coaches, family and friends snaked through the hallways of Tecumseh High School to pay their respects, viewing areas filled with pictures and various memories of Collin.
The six-foot-one former football player brought laughter and hope to every life he touched, especially his family, who he cited in an interview last year as the people he wanted everyone to remember when looking back on his journey.
“Tell your family you love 'em. That's who you're going to have in the end. And that's who's always going to be there for you no matter what. Even when it's dark out, the sun is shining somewhere”, said Griffin.
There will be guidance counselors on hand at the high school all week for grieving students.
