Coronavirus: Miami County Public Health now offers telehealth services

Miami County Public Health is now offering some telehealth services due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Telehealth will allow some visits to be done over the phone, the health department said Friday in a news release. Clinics such as the reproductive health and wellness program, well child clinic and prenatal wellness center are part of the program.

Residents should call 937-573-3519 or 937-573-3520 to see if your need can be handled over the phone. Medication refills or prescriptions also may be available as a curbside service.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is 113, with deaths remaining at 14, the county reported. The case onset date range is March 2-April 7 and the age range is less than 1 year to 96 years old.
