Students will not report to school on March 20, a Friday, and will instead continue their learning remotely from home.

Northmont teachers will spend the day at school, and will be available electronically to answer student questions.

"Having plans in place to continue educating our students during an extended closure is of critical importance and part of our evolving district safety plans," the school stated on their website. "Just as we practice drills in the event of a fire, tornado or lockdown, Northmont will conduct a remote education exercise."

Lakota schools, as well, have scheduled a day to practice learning from home, according to Journal-News.
