Last week, one person in Ohio tested negative. Seven total people have tested negative for the virus in Ohio.
In the state, 212 people have returned after traveling to China within the last 14 days. None of the 212 are showing symptoms and will not be tested unless criteria is met, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
“Ohio stands prepared, and we have taken a very aggressive approach to make sure we are ready if a case does happen in Ohio," said Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton.
The Ohio Department of Health is not disclosing where in Ohio people are being quarantined or tested.

- To prepare for a potential outbreak, people should plan for backup child care if schools or day cares are forces to close, have a 14-day emergency kit ready and make sure you have enough medications to last a couple weeks.
