Coronavirus: Wright Patt Credit Union warns against scammers

Wright Patt Credit Union warns customers to watch out for scammers who are taking advantage of the concerns over coronavirus.

According to a email sent to customers, a new scam has been circulating posing as the CDC Health Alert Network to steal personal information.

WPCU provided ways to protect customers from these scanners:

  • Only use reputable sources when searching for information about the coronavirus
  • Be on the lookout for phishing emails and never click unknown attachments, links
  • Be cautious of emails and phone calls offering unexpected information when they ask for your personal information
