Country musician to perform at Troy High School virtual prom

Troy High School seniors will be treated to a special guest performer during their virtual prom on May 8.

Country musician Drew Baldridge will open the virtual dance with his song “Senior Year.”

He will also announce the school’s 2020 prom king and queen.

Baldridge performed at the high school in the fall after the school won a fundraiser for Dayton Children’s Hospital.

The prom is being held over Zoom due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will be Friday, May 8, from 8 to 10 p.m.

Due to a limitations on Zoom, the virtual prom is only available for Troy High School seniors.

Seniors should’ve received a survey sent to their student emails that must be completed to attend prom.

Once it’s filled out, students will get a Zoom code and password.

The survey must be filled out by May 3.
