‘Covering the Blue’ donates blankets to Dayton officers dragged down street

A non-profit group from Pennsylvania donated blankets to two Dayton police officers who were dragged down a neighborhood street.

The blankets from “Covering the Blue” are black with a thin blue line.

In December, police pulled over 16-year-old Tae-sean Winn who was accused of driving a stolen car.

During the traffic stop, Police said Winn tried to run over two officers.

Seconds later, police said he ditched that car and stole a minivan before dragging two different officers down Maywood Avenue.

Both officers recovered.

'Covering the Blue' donates blankets to law enforcement hurt in the line of duty.

So far, they've donate more than 900 blankets.
