Child pulled from Riverside pool; rescuers perform CPR

A child was rescued this evening from a Riverside swimming pool.

Crews were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. to a report of a near drowning.

CPR was in progress after the child was pulled from the bottom of the pool at a home in the 5500 block of Hearthside Court, according to the Huber Heights Police Division, which dispatches for Riverside.

The child was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital, and we are working to learn the child’s condition.
