Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to state troopers. The semi was traveling too fast on the ramp, overcorrected, and caused the truck to roll onto its side, investigators said. The semi was hauling paint and printer ink but it is not toxic, state troopers said.

The driver of the semi and a passenger were taken to an area hospital for treatment of broken bones but the injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
