Police reopen SB I-75 in Dayton after earlier crash

UPDATE @ 9:35 a.m.: 

All southbound I-75 lanes reopened at West Third Street in Dayton after a crash shut the highway down for around 45 minutes.

Injuries were initially reported but it was not clear how many people were hurt or how serious their injuries were.

FIRST REPORT

Police and fire crews have shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Dayton after a reported crash involving multiple vehicles.

The crash was reported on I-75 South near the West Third Street exit around 8:45 a.m.

Traffic is being routed off the highway at the West Third Street exit. Traffic is able to get past the crash by using the ramp exit and getting back on the highway.

Injuries were reported in the crash but additional details were not available.
