Crews rescue man who slips on trails at Narrows Reserve

Crews rescued a man who slipped and fell while hiking this afternoon on snow-covered trails at the Narrows Reserve.

The man had been hiking with another person and was about a mile and a half back in the trail when he fell around 4:30 p.m., according to the Beavercreek Twp. Fire Department.

Rescuers used an off-road all-terrain vehicle to reach the man.

He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of injuries described as minor.

The reserve, part of the Greene County park system, is located off 2575 Indian Ripple Road in the township.
