In a 911 call, the woman said her son’s friend ran inside her house and shot him.
The victim, who was not identified, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, a Dayton police sergeant on scene said.
It’s unknown why the shooting occurred or if any arrests have been made.
