Family rescued safely after house fire in Riverside 

UPDATE @ 4:40 p.m.

A family who was in the house at the time of the fire was rescued safely.  The fire is believed to have started in the garage and spread to the second floor. Firefighters have not determined the cause of the blaze and do not have an estimated cost of damage at this time. The ceiling collapsed while we were on scene and an estimated fifteen percent of the house has been damaged. 

FIRST REPORT:

A house fire has been reported in the 300 block of Lynnhaven Drive in Riverside. Crews are currently on scene and we will update this story with the latest details.
