Crews responded to the fire at about 3:15 p.m. They arrived to see heavy smoke and flames, and crews from Middletown, Monroe, Franklin and Liberty Twp. responded.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire, which also caused damage to the roof and ceiling of the home.
