The non-emergency phone lines for the Darke County Sheriff’s Office are functioning again after a technical issue caused callers to receive a busy signal, said 911 Coordinator Melissa Hawes.
The lines were down Saturday night until Sunday just after 2 a.m.
Callers were asked to use alternate phone numbers to reach a deputy.
The 911 emergency lines were working properly during that time, Hawes said.
Both lines, 937-548-2020 and 937-548-3399, are working properly for callers to use for non-emergency situations.
