Ex-Dayton couple indicted on child rape charges

A former Dayton couple has been indicted in the rape of a young child.

Larry Eugene Bones, 36, and Brandy Lynn Bones-Warner, now of Cottonwood, Ala., are indicted for committing the rape of someone known to them who is younger than 10 years old.

The victim reported the sex abuse occurred for about five years beginning when she was 3 years old, according to Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck, Jr.

The victim is now over age 17.

Larry Bones is indicted on 16 counts of rape of a child younger than 10 and Brandy Bones-Warner is indicted on one count of rape of a child younger than 10.

All charges are first-degree felonies.

The defendants waived extradition and will be arraigned Nov. 27 in Alabama, where they are incarcerated at the Houston County Jail, Heck said.
