“At a time when our resources are stretched and the need for food continues to rise, this grant of $7,000 from Darden Foundation is a much needed boost,” Foodbank CEO Michelle Riley said. “With the increased cost of food and fuel, community support is more important than ever. We are very grateful to the Darden Foundation and Darden Restaurants for their generous support of behalf of those who are hungry.”
The Foodbank is one of 193 food banks to received funding from the Darden Foundation.
