“Since we opened in 2012, I’ve seen firsthand what an incredible talent pool Dayton has, which is why our family of performers has continued to grow,” said theater owner and perfomer Justin Howard. “But for every Black Box cast that auditioned to be selected is just further validation of what a special theater community we’ve created here. It’s a highly selective festival to begin with, so we’re pretty proud to be representing Dayton in full force.”

Brooklyn Bridge Club: Dan Badger, Trae Cragette, Elom Dossa, Zack Duncan, Jimmy Fritchman, Ellen Kennedy, Ben Stempler
Local audiences can catch the above casts at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at the Black Box Improv Theater, 518 E. Third Street, Dayton.
“Further proof of the talent is our up-and-coming performers in our Thursday night shows,” Howard added. “We’re getting to the point where the week is overflowing with talented improvisers.”
Established in downtown Dayton, Ohio, in July 2012, the Black Box Improv Theater has become nationally recognized for it's talented performers. The theater offers business-focused workshops through Black Box Consulting as well as general improv classes for those interested in performance.
