On the night of Oct. 20, 2015, Alisa’s mother called 911 to report that her daughter was having trouble breathing. The infant was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital, where doctors found she was suffering from cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest. She died Nov. 8, 2015, from injuries Alisa suffered by Hancock’s actions, the prosecutor’s office said.
Hancock remains in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been held since his Dec. 2, 2016, indictment.
He will be sentenced Feb. 1.
