The Montgomery County Combined Agency OVI Task Force has scheduled an OVI checkpoint over the weekend, according to a Dayton Police Department tweet.

Details about the exact location and time will be posted “later this week,” the tweet says.

State law requires law enforcement to announce the times and locations of sobriety checkpoints.

Montgomery County had 559 OVI crashes in 2018, according to Dayton police. Thirteen of those crashes were fatal.
