Dayton woman accused of forging and filling prescriptions

A Dayton woman accused of forging prescriptions then filling them now faces official charges.

Erin Routson, 40, was indicted Thursday on theft of drugs, four counts of illegal processing of drug documents and three counts of forgery, court records show.

The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office said Routson worked as a medical assistant at a doctor’s office when the alleged incidents happened last year.

She is not in custody and is ordered to appear May 7 for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
