“Guests are welcome to have their event at their place, or ours,” a spokeswoman for Giordano’s said. “If we bring the Giordano’s party to your home, Giordano's will bring warming kits and everything else needed, to ensure your food stays hot and is ready to serve.”

Giordano’s released this map showing its catering delivery area:

Giordano’s opened at 2819 Centre Drive near the Mall at Fairfield Commons on Feb. 19. The 5,000-square-feet space has a full bar, private space for parties and dining room.

Although Giordano’s serves “extra thin-” and “thin-crust” pizzas and a variety of sandwiches, it’s the stuffed deep-dish pies that are the chain’s signature dish. Those pies require a 10-step process to create even before cooking, including a second layer of dough above the “toppings” that is then adorned with sauce. When ordering at the restaurant, the menu cautions a deep-dish pizza could take 45 minutes or so to prepare.

In May, the chain’s CEO and president, Yorgo Koutsogiorgas, told this news outlet that the company is eyeing downtown Dayton sites for the home of its second Dayton-area pizza store, and is also looking to expand to Cincinnati and Cleveland. There is a Giordano’s location in Columbus.

The company has 75 locations, most of which are in the Midwest.
