Deputies: Car strikes pedestrian on Salem Ave., flees scene

Deputies are searching for a car that struck a pedestrian on Salem Avenue late Sunday night.

A dark color Chevy Impala exited a parking lot from the south side of Salem Avenue, turned left to travel northwest on Salem Ave., and struck a pedestrian in the 3440 block, according to a release.

The car fled from the scene.

The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
