Dog kennels discovered in condemned houses

Two men, including one juvenile, were arrested Tuesday for allegedly using two condemned properties as a kennel, according to reports.

The dog warden was called to remove three pit bulls from two different houses in the area of Shadyside Drive and North Main Street, police said.

The two suspects, who have not been identified, were arrested on charges of obstruction of justice, trespassing and resisting arrest. Initial reports indicated that the suspects fled on foot from the officers.
