Downtown block party in Lebanon tonight

LEBANON — Fuzzy cats, country music, and lots of food are all part of the festivities during Historic Downtown Lebanon’s Block Party, tonight, June 25.

Beloved Cincinnati Bengals mascot Who Dey and the University of Cincinnati Bearcat will be the guest of honor during the family friendly festival from 7 to 10 p.m. on Mulberry Street between Broadway and Cherry Street in the heart of downtown Lebanon.

Jessie Lyn Fisher and the TNT Band, the stars of the Lebanon Grand Opry House will perform throughout the festivities. Children’s games and activities will be going on throughout the evening along with line dance instruction and drawings from caricature artist Kate Howard. Several food vendors will also set up shop.

The event is being hosted by Historic Downtown Lebanon, Inc., downtown’s promotional organization, and is sponsored by LCNB National Bank. The block party is free. For more information, contact HDLI at (513)228-2322 or visit historicdowntownlebanon@zoomtown.com.

The event is the prelude to the Warren County Arts Festival, which takes place along Mulberry Street, Saturday, June 24. More than 50 artisans will be on hand as will street performers, musicians, dancers, and the Lebanon Theatre Company.
