Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3500 block on reports of a vehicle into a structure around 2:15 a.m.

When officials arrived on scene, it was determined that the vehicle, a black Cadillac Sedan, struck the corner of the house rather than crashing fully into the structure, and the driver was no longer on scene.

According to a release, the Cadillac was traveling east on Turner Road when it struck a median near Leadem Way, over-corrected and struck a fence before crashing into the house.

The homeowner told this news organization that they witnessed the driver flee the crash, and that this is the third time their house was struck by a different vehicle.

The residents inside the home were not injured.

The area of the house where the vehicle struck did suffer damage, but damage estimates were not immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
