Police said the man got away with several hundred Oxycontin pills, a prescription pain killer which is very popular on the black market.
Police started to track the robber with a Montgomery County Sheriff’s K-9, but it lost the track near an apartment complex on Heincke Road.
Investigators hope surveillance video will help identify the robber.
The pharmacy is doing an inventory to see how much the thief took.
