The incident was dispatched around 2 a.m. after the vehicle the person was in crashed into a pole near Brantford Road, per initial reports.
Officials say the car with the patient swerved to avoid being hit by another vehicle that went left of center on the road in the opposite direction. This caused the patient vehicle to crash into the power pole.
No injuries were reported.
Frederick Pike was blocked between Brantford Road and Needmore Road while Dayton Power & Light crews worked on the pole.
