The man’s name and condition have not yet been released, although emergency workers said he suffered head injuries severe enough that he was taken to the helipad at West Chester Medical Center, then airlifted to University Hospital.
He was not trapped under the large piece of granite estimated to weigh nearly half a ton, according to emergency personnel.
