The West Carrollton Fire Department will donate $677.40 to the Pink Ribbon Girls during the West Carrollton City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The Pink Ribbon Girls is a nonprofit organization which offers free services such as housekeeping, babysitting and meals for patients who are fighting breast cancer. The fire department raised the money through the sale of shirts with a pink fire department logo. Department personnel will wear the shirts during October while on duty.
Shirts are still available at $10 each. For information, 937-847-4645. STAFF REPORT
