During Monday’s city council meeting, the fire division is to receive two mechanical CPR devices that provide precise CPR to victims in cardiac arrest, allowing paramedics to provide life saving care for the victim.
The presentation will include David Grusenmeyer, owner of the Huber Heights Firehouse Subs franchise, Huber Heights fire Lt. Greg Baumle and Lucas Devis representative Linda Gleaves. The fire division was awarded a grant valued at about $26,000, which is the cost of two units to go along with one similar device the department already has used with what they called “amazing results.”
