One mobile home was destroyed, and another was damaged.
Neighbors said they are worried after finding out hydrants weren’t working.
“If my house were to catch fire ... what if that one does’t work,” said Brenda Gordon. “My house could burn down before they got water to it.”
Harrison Twp. firefighters said the two broken hydrants will be replaced, and by next week, the rest of the hydrants in the neighborhood will have been tested.
Neighbors said vacant mobile homes are a nuisance.
Firefighters said the cause of the fire is suspicious, and the homes have been without running water or electric for some time.
