A family will be displaced from their home after a fire broke out in Xenia Thursday.

Firefighters were dispatched to the home in the 100 block of Kansas Drive around 1:15 p.m. and reported smoke coming from the structure and a fire in the attic.
Two teenage girls were home when the fire broke out but were able to safely evacuate.
Firefighters rescued pets from the home, including a dog, rabbit, and turtle.
No injuries were reported.
