Emergency crews were dispatched to the 1500 block of Kenwood Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a fire in the area.
The fire began outside in a pile of trash behind the house, fire officials said. The back of the structure was severely burned by flames.
No one was reportedly injured.
