HAMILTON -- Five arrests and over a million dollars in drugs and cash after a lengthy investigation in southwest Ohio. Involved in the bust were the Hamilton and Cincinnati police departments, the Butler County prosecutor's office and the Violent Crimes Enforcement Team of the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Four people from Los Angeles, Calif., believed to be connected with street gangs, and one from Hamilton have been arrested. The huge operation used multiple businesses and homes in Hamilton, Butler County and Hamilton as places to store items and do business. Of the five people arrested, four are still in the Butler County jail. One person paid bond and has been released.
