Funeral arrangements set for radio's Steve Kerrigan

DAYTON, Ohio -- Funeral services have been set for longtime Dayton radio personality Steve Kerrigan.

He died yesterday at the age of 51 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation will be Friday 4 to 9 pm in Sidney at Adams Funeral Home. Then mass on Saturday morning at Holy Angels Church in Sidney at 10 am.

Steve learned just before he died he'll be inducted into the Dayton Area Broadcasters Hall of Fame this October.

Steve was half of the K99.1 FM Morning Show with Nancy Wilson after 18 years at WTUE on the Kerrigan & Christopher Morning Show.

He was diagnosed in 2008 with multiple myeloma and retired last May to fight his cancer full time.

Steve leaves behind five children and his wife, Monique,  who is also fighting cancer.
