Visitation today for Dayton shooting victim Logan Turner

Funeral services for Logan Turner, one of the nine people killed in the Dayton shooting, are scheduled for this weekend.

A visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Springboro. The funeral ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday.

Burial will be in Miami Valley Memorial Gardens.

Turner, a 2008 Springboro graduate, had recently turned 30 and was out with friends over weekend in Dayton’s Oregon District, his mother said.

Danita Turner described her son as “sweet and smart” and “the world’s best son.”

He studied at Sinclair Community College and also graduated from the University of Toledo with an engineering degree. He also reportedly attended Wright State University.

He recently had started working as a machinist in Springboro.
