White waived his preliminary hearing in Lebanon Municipal Court on Monday, Aug. 1, and was released from the Warren County Jail on a recognizance bond. He was ordered to be supervised by Pre-trial Services, said court officials.
Smith also waived his preliminary hearing and remains free on a $15,000 surety bond, court officials said.
Monroe Police Officer Andrew Grossenbaugh said at 4:05 a.m. he watched a 2000 Silver Chevrolet truck pull next to the closed Bristol’s club and turn off its lights.
The vehicle stayed there about three minutes and left, he said. He said he stopped the truck as it turned onto Interstate 75, and as he approached it, he saw a “large amount” of copper piping in the bed, as well as bolt cutters, saws and other tools.
